Meg Barone is an award-winning journalist and public relations specialist. Meg has authored more than 15,000 news articles, feature stories and press releases, which have been published in over 400 newspapers, magazines, trade publications and websites.

Meg’s writing honors include several awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and in June 2007 Meg received a Sword of Hope Media Award from the American Cancer Society, New England Division. The award, presented every other year, honors excellence in communications about cancer.

Meg’s journalistic and public relations expertise is often sought for non-profit organizations. She is currently a member of the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center’s Community Committee and Orchestra New England’s Action Team. Meg has also served since 2003 as a judge for a state-wide essay contest sponsored by the School for Ethical Education.
